In November of 2001, in an act of rebellion, along came a guy who challenged the status quo and asked himself “why not”? Why not go all-in on color or art? Why not think big? Why not take passion to the extreme? And here we are, 20 years later, celebrating our anniversary and still asking ourselves the same question. WHY NOT? 

To celebrate these last 20 years, we’re redesigning our iconic chess acetate collection: the boldest and most colorful model that we created during our very first years. Heritage Capsule is a tribute to the values of our brand and to the turning point in our history. Our Chess collection is back, and it’s bolder than ever!

For the past 20 years, art, color, culture and history have been our source of inspiration. These are the values that we want to capture in the #BeAnartist campaign for this Heritage Capsule. These are the images of people who one day challenged the laws and who also asked themselves: why not?
