Following the success of the first capsule collection, Etnia Barcelona and artist Ignasi Monreal are joining forces again to give life to OJO Vol.2, an exclusive, limited-edition capsule collection of sunglasses inspired by jade and designed in three new colors: lavender, green and Havana. 

In 2020, Ignasi Monreal and Etnia Barcelona were inspired by John Berger’s work, Ways of Seeing, to create glasses that played with the fantasy of having an extra pair of eyes. 

In 2022, perspective once again takes center stage in this capsule collection, and it is positioned as a catalyst for feelings and emotions. Artist Ignasi Monreal has designed a unique piece that allows us to see far beyond what our eyes perceive. 

OJO Vol.2 travels through this peripheral vision, drawing inspiration from its surroundings. It is a journey from Barcelona to Asia where jade is linked to the heart chakra, which is associated with emotions and feelings.

The OJO Vol.2 campaign, captured by Korean photographer Cho Gi-Seok, evokes emotions and feelings connected to love through dreamlike and surreal images that seem otherworldly.
